Okay so I know it sounds tacky but I always like to be updated on what's going on with the school's back home in Dallas.
I've always been very involved in school, was senior class president and did many activities, so I knew what went on behind the curtain, behind closed doors, behind the masterminds.
The only place where I know there's always a controversial article speaking about schools in Dallas is the Dallas Morning News of course. Although it might not give me specifics as to schools, it will give me main events, and plots of what's going on in the area, and from there I can be updated.
It worries me because my brother is 10 years younger and the rate schools are going sometimes makes me feel that by the time he gets to high school, he might not make it.
In these two articles that I found, one spoke about allowing adults in classes with kids. Or a lack of substitute teachers.
Seriously, why would they allow adults in classes with kids? There are places adults can go. A "child" who is 20 can not remain a freshman in high school. One year worth of mistakes is enough... That many is too many. This is giving children the idea of "oh it's okay to mess up... you'll always have a safety net," and real life is not like that.
As for the substitute teachers, who the heck is going to replace a regular teacher and give lectures and teach? What is gonna happen if one day a teacher is needed and everyone else is extremely busy? These things don't come up on the news because they're not "juicy" controversy, but for someone who's experienced the pressures of developing modern days, it worries me to have someone I love having to grow with this along.

I Spy... World Events!
The single numbered channels are my favorite when it comes down to news.
I know that if something political is happening, or something of "breaking" news, I can flip to 5, 6,7 or a number of that sort :)
[not done] :)

Mole

No it's not pronounced "mow-l." Its pronounced "moh-leh."
And it's not a body part or anything regarding a human.
This is a concoction made from peanuts, peppers, chocolate and lots of other "stuff."
As of this moments, I have NO IDEA of everything that Mole consists of but that it's delicious.
I've yet to meet a "mexican" who doesn't LOVE this dish.
At weddings in Mexico Mole would be considered a gourmet dish. Sorta like having gourmet Alfredo pasta at a wedding here. Its pretty
And first....a LIST
I don't think I can really come up with my "favorite food" very easily. Sooo, i'm going to make a list of my favorite types of food, and i'll take it from there. :D
-Pambazo [haha yes, very mexican]
-Chicken Nuggets :D
-Mole [once again, very mexican]
-Chocolate (can that be considered food)
If I were to write about Pambazo's it'd be because they're ONLY found (the original way) in Veracruz, Mexico where i'm from.
About chicken nuggets, they've been my chicken-love ever since i've lived in the United States...
Mole is something RARE

Lets add some dialogue??? [My Narrative]
I seriously took about 45 minutes trying to decide weather I should or shouldn't add dialogue to my paper. Not because I felt lazy or anything but because I didn't see where it would fit exactly.
Of course there are places where there could be dialogue, but it didn't fit the sentiment of my story. Yeah, it's a re-cap of last semester, but I thought it would take out of the feeling of the way I was telling it.
I could be wrong... Heck I probably am, and should add dialogue and spice it up a bit but i'm not exactly sure how to fit it in without having it lose its dramatic-ish tone (because I don't want to make up a dialogue).

D:< "I Don't Wanna"
How do you tell your boss you don't "wanna" remove your piercing?
Okay so I started working this Tuesday and my boss asked me to take my piercing out because "lip piercings" and "eyebrow piercings" aren't allowed.
I mean really? So if a guy were to walk in with his ears pierced? Or one it would be fine?
Or if a girl were to have her nose pierced it'd be okay?
I guess I'm just annoyed because i love my piercing and "I DON'T WANNA TAKE IT OUT."
Hopefully I can put a spacer in and they won't notice. If they do, i'll say I need it for the health of my gums or something.
I hope it works! :D
